Minister Mavis is a renowned international worshipper and a vocal prowess who has served faithfully in her local churches for more than 2 decades. She ministers under an unusual anointing that sets people free and brings liberty for believers to worship. Growing up, she was given the opportunity to develop her vocal as a result of her mother’s prayer for Minister Mavis to be totally dedicated to the work of ministry. In no time, Minister Mavis started to minister with unusual courage and anointing at a very tender age. She became a well sought after worshipper at many local ministries and event. However, she remained grounded under sound teachings of the Gospel and always desired that God will manifest through her during her ministration. God exceeded the desires of her heart and her parents when Minister Mavis began to rise to prominence in Accra and surrounding areas.
By the grace of God, she has ministered on countless international platforms, including Love Revolution Conferences with Rev. Eastwood Anaba Ministries, Desert Pastures - Bolgatanga, Potter’s City - Prampram, Action City - Maryland, The Lord’s Garden Ministry - Trade Fair, Thanksgiving - Ghana, many ICGC branches and several other ministries. She’s also shared the stage with many world renowned worshippers including Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, MOGmusic, and many Moore. Her vocal prowess is well known across the gospel music industry in Ghana, and she has sang background vocals on many albums. Minister Mavis is married to Rev. Solomon Akwaka, Senior Pastor of Spirit of the Lord Church in Minneapolis.
