Pastor Solomon Akwaka is a passionate and dynamic minister of the gospel whose vision and quest for excellence has propelled him to great heights. He is a kingdom-minded, multi-talented entrepreneur, preacher, songwriter, A&R Director among many others. He is a gifted worshipper who ministers under the anointing and is passionate for excellence in the kingdom. Pastor Solomon grew up in Accra, Ghana, joined the choir in his early teens and also actively involved himself in local outreach and student leadership. As a pastor’s kid, there was a lot to live up to. He joined the choir as a pre-teenager, actively involved himself in local outreach and was intrigued by being in leadership. This led to him holding leadership roles early in his walk with God. With over 20 years experience in ministry, he has served in various capacities as a prayer leader, music minister, church administrator, assistant pastor and resident pastor.

In addition to these multiple roles, he helped found the Healing Rain Worship Team, released an album with the team in 2014 and shared the stage with Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning artists such as James Grear & Company, Robert Robinson and Vickie Winans. He has also served as the President & CEO of both GSMTV Network and GSMTV Awards. GSMTV Awards is a thriving awards scheme in Minnesota, USA that promotes and honors gospel musical artists, community leaders and ministers of the African descent. It has hosted 6 successful awards that has brought many African Gospel legends and artists across the world together. Pastor Solomon has also collaborated with many renowned pastors and churches to promote the gospel through musical concerts, revivals, crusades and more. Pastor Solomon serves as Senior Pastor at Spirit of the Lord Church in North Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is currently the Vice-President (Worldwide Administration & Diaspora Operations) for Praise Achievement Awards, and the President of Isaiah 61 Ministries based in Minneapolis. Additionally, he Chairs the March for Jesus Twin Cities Committee and is the Secretary/PRO for the Ghanaian Ministers Association of Minnesota (GMAM). Pastor Solomon resides in Minneapolis with his wife and son. He ministers to people from all walks of life through music, the word and discipleship.
